Fan Numbering and Inbox Splitter
Fan Numbering and Inbox Splitter solve this by automatically dividing the inbox into clear segments. Each fan gets assigned a consistent number, and each chatter only sees the fans they're responsible for. No overlap, no confusion, just clean workflows even on high-traffic accounts.

When multiple chatters work the same creator's inbox, things can get chaotic fast. Two people replying to the same fan, missed messages, and overlapping conversations that hurt both revenue and the fan experience.

How it works
Fan Numbering assigns every fan a permanent number based on your configured digit count. Once set, a fan keeps their number across the entire team, so references stay consistent.
Inbox Splitter uses those numbers to filter the inbox view. Each chatter selects their assigned number and only sees the fans in that segment.
Together, they let you scale from a single chatter to a full team without any chaos in the inbox.
Enable Fan Numbering (creator level)
Fan Numbering is configured per creator. Enable it once and it applies to every chatter working that creator.
Open Fan Numbering.
Toggle Enable Fan Numbering on.
Set the Number of Digits (between 1 and 8). This defines how many inbox segments you can create.
Wait for the Saved indicator to confirm your changes are applied.

Use Inbox Splitter (per chatter)
Inbox Splitter is a per-user setting. Each chatter configures it individually to filter their own view.
Open Chats.
Click Inbox Splitter.
Toggle Enable Inbox Splitter on.
Under Fan Number, select your assigned value (e.g.
#1).Click Save.

From that point on, the chatter only sees fans matching their selected number.

Notes
Fan numbers stay consistent over time. A fan assigned to
#3stays on#3even as new fans arrive. Each chatter should be assigned a specific number by the team lead to avoid overlap.
